Personality Development Workshop at GMR Infra, Bangalore.
My sense that the last workshop went well is accurate. I have been asked by GMR to offer it again and this time the room was overflowing with 37 participants in a hall meant for a maximum of 30. It was a bit of a squeeze and I am actually happy to share the session with more people. I refined the workshop based on the earlier experience and managed the time better. I am looking forward to doing it as a 2 day event and add reinventing and deepen the core distinctions.
I started the practice of Pranayama when afflicted by ischemic heart disease in 1987. This was a turning point in my life and led to the path of holistic healing. Healing this 'incurable' disease spurred me on to explore other inner growth practices. For more than two decades, I have been practicing pranayama, deep relaxation, meditation and other techniques with remarkable benefits. I quit my job and started living in Auroville to explore alternate modes of living. Facilitating Personal Growth programs is very interesting to me and more than a thousand people participated in my workshops/retreats.
I studied in AU College of Engineering (B.E) and IIT, Kharagpur (M.Tech). I served in the Indian Navy from 1970 to 1991 and received the Visisht Seva Medal from the President of India. Prior to joining Auroville, I worked for 16 years in top R&D management positions such as the Director of R&D of D-Link India, JCPE of CRISP/IISc, Vice President(Software) of Cirrus Logic India and General Manager (R&D) of BPL Telecom Ltd.
I was a Seminar Leader in Landmark Education from 2000 to 2003.
