Communication – Module 3 (PGL, IIMI)
We tried out an interesting experiment in this Module. It is based on a concept that I have been thinking for some time. Many people think of communication as what we talk to others (and perhaps to oneself) and as a result many communication courses deal with the form and content. My concept is that the source of communication is who you are being. Communications include the way we relate to the Earth, Environment, values and vision for your life. I tried this out in the communication module and my sense was that it was very well received. It was very interesting and inspiring experience for me and I am grateful to all the participants.

The academic block of IIMI is in an annular shape and very pretty. I am sharing a couple of pictures.
I started the practice of Pranayama when afflicted by ischemic heart disease in 1987. This was a turning point in my life and led to the path of holistic healing. Healing this 'incurable' disease spurred me on to explore other inner growth practices. For more than two decades, I have been practicing pranayama, deep relaxation, meditation and other techniques with remarkable benefits. I quit my job and started living in Auroville to explore alternate modes of living. Facilitating Personal Growth programs is very interesting to me and more than a thousand people participated in my workshops/retreats.
I studied in AU College of Engineering (B.E) and IIT, Kharagpur (M.Tech). I served in the Indian Navy from 1970 to 1991 and received the Visisht Seva Medal from the President of India. Prior to joining Auroville, I worked for 16 years in top R&D management positions such as the Director of R&D of D-Link India, JCPE of CRISP/IISc, Vice President(Software) of Cirrus Logic India and General Manager (R&D) of BPL Telecom Ltd.
I was a Seminar Leader in Landmark Education from 2000 to 2003.
